Yes. What varies is the steel you start from. A used cargo-worthy box carries old paint, a previous line's markings and some surface rust, so it needs prep before your logo goes on. A one-trip container starts clean. Tell us the box is getting branded before we pick one and we will match it.
Every container in the yard has a history, and it shows on the sides. One came off a line that painted it dark green and stencilled a name across both doors. Another has a patch welded low on a side wall where something hit it in a port. A third is even in color but carries that fine orange bloom over half the panel that weathering steel gets after a decade outdoors.
All three are wind and watertight. All three are structurally the same 14-gauge weathering steel and will stand thirty years outside. For storage nobody cares. The moment a logo is going on the side, they stop being interchangeable, because the prep each one needs is different and the finish you end up with is different.
Say it up front. When you call for a quote, tell us the container is going to be branded and where it will sit: a customer-facing lot, a fenced yard, a pad the neighbors see. That single sentence changes which unit we pull for you, and it costs nothing to say.

The durable answer, and the only one that fully erases a previous line's markings. The steel gets cleaned, loose scale and rust knocked back, primed where it needs it, then finish coat. Done properly it will outlast the job it was bought for.
Fast and sharp for a logo, and it comes off later without a fight. It needs a smooth, sound surface to grip, which is why it suits a one-trip box or a freshly painted panel and does not suit pitted steel.
The renter's answer. If the box is a month-to-month rental going back to us at closeout, a magnetic sign gives you the visibility without altering a unit you do not own. Ask before you paint a rental.

Two places, and neither is us. The first is signage rules. A painted logo on a container parked where the public can see it can read as a sign to a county or a town, and sign rules are genuinely local. The second is the property owner. If the box is sitting on ground you do not own, or inside a development with its own covenants, ask before the paint comes out.
