Who we are
Containers Delivered sells, rents and modifies shipping containers from our yard at 5567 Elk Horn Rd, Woodlawn, VA 24381 and our sales lot at 2220 E Lee Highway, Wytheville, VA. This policy explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, what we do with it, and the choices you have. Questions about it go to (276) 237-6144 or [email protected].
What you send us
When you request a quote, use the contact form, sign up for a special or message us in the chat window, we receive what you type: usually your name, phone number, email address, delivery ZIP code, the container size you are interested in, whether you want to buy or rent, and any notes about the job. When you call or text us, we keep a record of the conversation so we can follow up.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site records basic technical information when you visit: the pages you view, the site or search engine that sent you, your device and browser type, and the network (IP) address of your connection. The details are in the cookies and visit statistics section below.
How we use your information
- To answer your quote request with a price, a delivery window and any details we need to confirm the container will fit.
- To schedule and complete deliveries, pickups and modification work.
- To follow up on open quotes and check in after a delivery.
- To send the text messages or emails you opted into, such as our monthly specials.
- To run, secure and improve this website, and to see which pages and marketing bring people to us.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for other companies' advertising.
Text messages (SMS)
Our forms include two text-message boxes. Both are unchecked, both are optional, and neither is required to get a quote.
- Texts about your request: quote details, delivery scheduling and follow-up on the request you sent us.
- Offers and specials: occasional marketing texts, such as our monthly special.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by calling (276) 237-6144 or emailing [email protected]. After you opt out you may receive one text confirming it, and nothing further unless you opt in again.
When you tick a box we record the time, the page you were on, the exact wording you agreed to and the network address the consent came from, so we can prove and honor your choice.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We reply to quote requests by email, and if you signed up for a special we email you about that special. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply with the word unsubscribe or tell us by phone. Replies about your own quote, delivery or container are not marketing, and they continue for as long as your request is open.
Where your information goes
Your information is handled by a small set of service providers who work for us and may use it only to provide their service to us:
- Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- HighLevel (LeadConnector) runs our customer records, the chat window on this site, and the text messages and emails we send. HighLevel and its telephone carriers process your phone number to deliver messages.
- Google provides our business email and Google Analytics.
- Cloudflare hosts this website, protects it from abuse and stores the consent records described above.
- Webb Flow Marketing builds and manages this website for us and sees form and consent records only to keep the site working.
None of these providers may use your information for their own marketing. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
Cookies and visit statistics
- Google Analytics 4 sets cookies in your browser to tell repeat visits apart, and shows us which pages are viewed and roughly where visits come from. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store visitor IP addresses. You can block it with Google's own opt-out browser add-on.
- Our own visit counter records the page viewed, the general source of the visit (for example, a search engine), your device type and the time. It stores a small flag in your browser so we can tell new visitors from returning ones. It uses no advertising cookies, cannot identify you personally and does not follow you to other websites.
- The chat window and the monthly-special popup store small flags in your browser so a conversation can continue and a popup you closed stays closed.
We do not run advertising pixels or cross-site tracking on this site.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not run cross-site tracking or targeted advertising.
How long we keep your information
We keep quote and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our business and tax record-keeping duties, or until you ask us to delete them. We keep text-message consent and opt-out records for at least four years after your last message, so we can prove your choice if it is ever questioned.
Your choices and rights
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Stop emails: use the unsubscribe link, or reply with the word unsubscribe.
- See, correct or delete your information: call (276) 237-6144 or email [email protected]. Tell us the name, phone number or email address you used so we can find your records. We will confirm what we hold, correct it, or delete it from our live systems.
Wherever you live, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Some states also write these rights into law.
California (CCPA and CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA. We will never treat you differently for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using any method listed above. We respond to every request.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
