Farm & Agriculture Storage

Dry, locked, rodent-proof storage for the farm.

Stop losing feed to mice and hay to the weather. A steel shipping container keeps seed, minerals, tractors, ATVs, and tools safe on your own land — no slab, usually no permit, and free delivery within 50 miles of Woodlawn.

Built for the back forty

One steel box that earns its keep.

Every farm runs out of dry, secure space. Hay tarps blow off, feed bags get into by mice, the good tools walk away, and the tractor sits out under the elements because the barn is full. A shipping container solves all of it at once — a hard-walled, lockable room you drop right where you need it.

These are genuine ISO containers built from 14-gauge Cor-Ten weathering steel with marine-plywood floors and cargo doors that seal on rubber gaskets. No soft wood for rodents to chew, no roof to re-shingle, nothing to rot. Buy one outright to stop paying for storage you'll never own, or rent month-to-month through a busy season and apply it toward a purchase later.

Farm container holding feed, equipment, and tools on agricultural property
What goes inside

Feed, hay, seed, equipment — all in one place.

From bagged minerals to a compact tractor, a container handles the gear a working farm can't afford to leave outside. Add vents and shelving and it doubles as a tidy supply room.

Feed & minerals

Bagged feed, supplements, and salt stay bone-dry and out of reach of mice, rats, and raccoons.

Hay & bedding

Square bales and straw kept off the wet ground and out of the weather. Add vents so it breathes.

Seed & chemicals

Seed, fertilizer, and chemical totes stored secure, locked, and away from kids and curious livestock.

ATVs & side-by-sides

Roll a couple of four-wheelers or a UTV inside, lock the lockbox, and quit worrying about theft.

Tractors & equipment

A 40-ft swallows a compact tractor, implements, and attachments with room to walk around.

Tools & supplies

Fencing, hand tools, parts, and chainsaws on shelves you can find again. We can add them before delivery.

Steel storage container set on a rural property
Why steel beats a wood shed

Nothing for mice to chew, nothing to rot.

  • Rodent-tight by design — solid steel walls and gasketed doors give mice and rats no way in to your feed.
  • Wind & water-tight — built to cross oceans, so a hay tarp blowing off is a problem of the past.
  • Welded lockbox shields your padlock from bolt cutters — equipment theft made a lot harder.
  • Vents on request let air move through stored hay and grain so condensation doesn't build up.
  • ~30-year lifespan with zero maintenance — it'll outlast any pole barn you'd build for the money.

Want it built out further? Add roll-up doors, electrical, lighting, and heavy shelving on our custom modifications page.

How it works

From the field to leveled in about a week.

1

Tell us the farm job

Feed and tools, or a tractor that needs cover? Size, condition, and where on the property it's going. We give you a real out-the-door number the same day.

2

Confirm the drop spot

Send a photo of the gate and the spot. We make sure the truck can pull in over the pasture lane and that the ground is firm enough to level on.

3

Delivered & leveled

Our tilt-bed slides the container onto foundation blocks, welds the lockbox, and you're loading feed the same afternoon.

Stop renting storage

Buy it once and own it for good.

A self-storage unit or a rented trailer is money you never get back. Buy a container outright and after a year or two it's already paid for itself — and it stays on the farm for the next 30 years.

Only need extra space for hay season or calving? Rent month-to-month with no contract, and apply the rent toward a purchase if you decide to keep it.

Farm questions

What farmers ask us.

Yes. A genuine ISO container is solid 14-gauge Cor-Ten steel with a welded floor frame and cargo doors that seal on rubber gaskets, so there are no gaps for rodents to chew through and no soft spots like a wood shed. Bagged feed, seed, and minerals stay dry and gnaw-proof. For long hay or grain storage we can add roof and side vents so air moves and condensation doesn't build up.
On private rural and agricultural property, a permit is almost never required for a container used as temporary storage. It simply sits on leveled foundation blocks on your own land, so there's no poured slab and no construction. If you're inside town limits, in an HOA, or planning a permanent foundation, check with your county first. We're glad to talk through what your jurisdiction usually wants.
A 20-ft container (about 160 sq ft) easily swallows a side-by-side, a couple of ATVs, attachments, and feed. For a compact tractor, a row of implements, or to store equipment and still walk around it, a 40-ft (about 320 sq ft) is the better fit. The 8-foot-wide door opening clears most farm machinery; if you're tight on height, ask about the 9-foot-6 high-cube.
