Can I rent a container for just one month?

The decision isn't whether we'll rent for a month

That part's settled: there's no minimum term here, so a single month is a completely normal rental. What's actually worth thinking through is whether a month is the right unit for what you're doing, because that decides what you pay.

A renovation that wraps in three weeks and a renovation that runs six weeks both land on "about a month" in conversation, but they don't cost the same if you're billed strictly by the calendar. Knowing which side of a month you're really on is the question worth ten minutes before you call.

The deciding factor: how many days, really

If the job is measured in days, closer to a week or ten days than four weeks, it's worth asking whether a shorter arrangement beats a full month's flat rate. If it's measured in weeks that stretch toward a full month or longer, the monthly rate is almost always the better deal, because a per-day structure carries the cost of the truck run and the idle time on either end.

What a one-month rental actually includes

Ending it when the month is up

Nothing renews automatically and nothing converts into a different arrangement at the end of thirty days. When you're finished, you call, we schedule pickup, and the truck hauls it back. If the job runs a little long, you're simply into a second month at the same flat rate, not a penalty.

If you're not sure it'll only be a month

That's fine too. Plenty of renters start out expecting a month and end up keeping the box longer, and some decide partway through that they'd rather own it outright. Both are ordinary outcomes here, not exceptions.
