The mistake: treating West Virginia as a single answer

West Virginia is a big state, and the honest answer to whether we deliver there cannot be a single yes or no any more than it could be for Virginia itself. The mistake people make is asking the question by state instead of by town, then either assuming a state line automatically means a surcharge, or assuming that because we serve one corner of the state, every corner is the same drive.

Neither assumption holds. A state line, by itself, changes nothing about our price. What changes the price is road miles from our Woodlawn yard, and West Virginia happens to have towns on both sides of that 75-mile line.

The correct approach: measure from Woodlawn, not the map

Southern West Virginia, the Mercer County coalfields around Bluefield and Princeton, sits roughly 58 to 62 road miles from Woodlawn up I-77 and US-460. That lands comfortably inside our 75-mile free zone, and it is a corridor we run often enough that a delivery there is not a special trip. It is a regular Tuesday.

Further into the state, toward Charleston or the northern panhandle, the mileage climbs well past 75, and that is where the free zone math stops working in your favor. We still make those runs. We just quote the trip up front instead of folding it into the container price.

What this means if you are calling from West Virginia

• Bluefield and Princeton, and towns close to them in Mercer County, generally land inside our free 75-mile zone.
• A state line by itself never adds a fee. Distance from Woodlawn is the only thing that does.
• Anywhere farther into West Virginia is still a delivery we will run, at a flat rate quoted before the truck leaves.

The container itself does not know which state it is in

Once the truck is loaded, a West Virginia delivery looks exactly like a Virginia one. The container rides on a tilt-bed, gets set on leveled blocks so the doors close square, and rolls off with the welded lockbox already on it. Sales, rentals and custom-built units all cross the state line the same way.
